4. You know to never use the metal stairs when it is raining or, if you are a female, when wearing heeled shoes
5. You never touch handrails
6. You’ve learned the strategies behind buying food at the hutch without waiting in line
7. You know the best food the cafeteria serves is bagels
8. The best thing to do when you have a sub is order food…and it’s always Food Time!
9. You’ve ever had a class that had: a permanent long-term sub; at least six different teachers; a different sub every day.
10. You’ve ever been in a class that the teacher either got fired at the beginning of the year or quit.

12. You know the doorways that are watched and not watched when you want to get off campus

28.  Tom’s No. 19 = smokers, junior year lunch with no car, the best French fries, have to pay to use the bathroom, only exist cause of the high school

44.  You are not allowed to wear ANYTHING with a school logo or distinguishing school or city characteristics to Grad Nite because of potential gang violence

46.  There was a dance code at formal dances because people like to come thisclose to having sex on the dance floor
47. There was a dress code at Prom and you had to get your dress approved (if it was doubtful) by the principle by having him sign a photograph of your dress that you then had to take with you to the dance to get in
48.  If your history teacher invented the tank and saved Monrovia from the KKK
49.  One name: Mr. Meaner!
50.  Look CAREFULLY before turning any doorknobs!
51.  There were exposed wires in the broken ceilings of your classrooms
52.  Pigeons lived in the ceilings
53.  You know to stay far, far away from the biology classrooms because of the horrible, horrible stench

56.  Your Spanish teacher never stayed more than a year

78. There is an obervatory in above the science building that no one knows about
79. You walked inside the science building and not around it because of the stinky "cum" trees
80. State tests meant free time and filling in circles in nifty desgins
81. You had to watch where you walked because otherwise you would step in the huge loogies littering the ground
82. The English Department "meetings" happened at the local bar

84. Prom was held at a Western museum of all places
85. The most common pranks were pouring oil in the pool, throwing a mattress in the pool, dying the pool, you get the idea...
86. Your friends rigged the Prom Queen vote, and when the teacher found out he didn't care in the slightest
87. The Senior Best vote was protested
88. Government class was time to talk, make fun of the teacher, and be random
89. Teachers smoked pot and warned students about acid
90. Administration cut down trees because they were the wrong color green
91. The Career Center has 25 computers and only 6 of them work
92. They installed lockers, but no one was allowed to use them

94. It was exciting to see what shoes Mr. Higgins would be wearing on any given day
95. At break, instead of sitting on the benches you piled your bags on them and stood
96. Security guards rode around in golf carts...and yes, complete with sirens on top

98. It was important to stake out a place to hang out early your freshman year...wars have been fought!
